Lesson 7: Managing Vacation and Sick days

Clicking on the "Absence" tab to get an overview of the holidays and sick days of the selected employee.

To get started:

  1. Divide the number of vacation days per year by 12 to calculate the number of vacation days per month
  2. Enter the number of vacation days per month (maximum 4 decimal places)
  3. Process the period

The number of holidays for that month will be automatically added during processing.
When you process January, the balance of the previous year is also automatically taken over.

When someone takes vacation:

  1. Enter the start date on a new line
  2. Enter the end date
  3. Adjust the number of vacation days if necessary

You can see the vacation balance on the left side. It is also automatically displayed on the salary slip. If desired, you can also book extra vacation days and change descriptions.

Managing sick days goes similarly:

  1. Enter the start date on a new line
  2. Enter the end date
  3. Adjust the number of sick days, if necessary
